Glenn MantonCo-founder of Whitelion, experienced teacher and published author highlight the diverse background of Glenn Manton beyond his public profile of professional athlete and media performer.
Glenn Manton has focused his vast knowledge of youth, in particular, to establish himself as one of Australia’s most regarded adolescent speakers and motivators. Glenn’s youth based work extends to indigenous communities and is complemented by his degree in Education (RMIT), teaching background and mentoring aptitude.
The corporate world has also identified Glenn as an authentic professional whom can be called upon to provide group development through presentation or facilitation. And product or event support as master of ceremonies/host.
Born of diverse successes (and failings) Glenn’s celebrity is appropriately unique. When coupled with genuine human-interest Glenn’s ability to connect with an audience is profound.
Of course it doesn’t hurt to be able to share stories based on time spent playing AFL football, racing a bobsleigh, mentoring young drug users and performing as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival amongst others.

Corporate

Glenn Manton has repeatedly serviced diverse sectors of the corporate world in the roles of (key note) speaker, presenter, MC and host. The combination of Glenn’s quick wit and broad knowledge base make him a multifaceted MC or host whose personable style ensures an audience is always involved and appreciated. Clients ranging from VISY to the Bendigo Bank have repeatedly turned to Glenn to ensure their event, retreat or personal development day were a success.
Glenn has developed two foundation programs that he uses to great affect in corporate environments.
The “Information Exchange ©” experience is a facilitated activity that enables both individual and group investigation and development via the highly entertaining medium of ‘speed dating’. Ideally suited to groups of (approx) 20 to 300 Glenn Manton uses curated questions to challenge an audience’s perception of themselves and those about them before allowing the group to openly ‘question’ him in conclusion. An ideal session for corporate groups looking to socialize, inspire behavioural change, engage and build relationships, develop unity and improve motivation.
Glenn’s “Your Numbers up ©” experience for corporate takes storytelling to a new level. Participants chart the journey via their questions. Glenn reveals intimate passages of his life’s story in an appropriate and authentic way via his response/s. Audiences sit transfixed as Glenn engages, entertains and educates around subjects such as knowledge of self, relationships, communication, responsibility, leadership, compassion, goal setting, decision-making and so much more. Particpants enter into an open line of communication with Glenn through his “Your Numbers up ©” activity with the natural childlike curiosity of questions allowing for great individual and group learning.

School Presentations

Many young people leave school defined by their ATAR score whilst feeling confused about their identity and overwhelmed by the choices and decisions before them. Today’s youth feel disenfranchised from ‘old school’ models. They have all of the big picture dreams and little of the fine detail how.
Beyond Blue (2013) statistically presents that 91% of kids aged between 11-17 experience identity based anxieties whilst in school. A raft of statistics paint a bleak picture of our youth from the effects poor body image, depression, steroid abuse to excessive alcohol consumption
Glenn Manton believes that in order to the ‘combat the stats’ you have to start with knowledge of self.
Glenn understands what it feels like to be disenfranchised. He knows how it feels to have talent and ability and yet push against the tide to achieve success by anyone else’s terms. He has seen what happens with kids who ‘get lost’ having almost lost himself along the way. Glenn has developed two foundation programs that he uses to great affect in primary and secondary locations.

“Glenn brings his own engaging style which allows the students to feel comfortable to participate, but also allows him to get a very important message across about communication, relationships and thinking beyond themselves. Students are challenged to step out of their comfort zones and Glenn’s presentation creates discussion for days and weeks to come and is considered one of the highlights of the year for our students”

“I had the pleasure of witnessing Glenn deliver his “Your Numbers up ©” workshop and I was blown away. The audience was completely engaged and at ease with Glenn the whole time. Their questions and conversations with Glenn were a catalyst to clear and simple leadership principles, that resonated with the group on their own terms and in their own language. They got it! Amazing. A ‘must do’ for all schools (Primary and Secondary.” Helen Treloar. FMC Leadership Academy for Kids.
