In just four years of stand-up, Josh has carved out a reputation as one of Queensland’s most exciting emerging voices in comedy. A Queensland State Finalist at the 2024 RAW Comedy Competition, he returned the following year to claim 2nd place in the National Comedy RAW Competition 2025 — one of Australia’s most publicised platforms for new comedic talent. In 2026, he added the title of Australia’s Funniest Comedian (Amateur Heat) to his name.

There are no wasted moments when Josh performs, with a delivery that grabs audiences from the first word. He uniquely balances bloke-ish tendencies, with an introspective honesty, delivered in a frenetic style that sets him apart from the rest. His droll presence holds the audience’s attention as he tells stories only lived by him but easily relatable to all.

Josh has shared stages with and opened for headliners from across the globe including James Donald Forbes McCann (Kill Tony, USA), Mel Buttle (AUS), and Al Del Bene (USA), holding his own in front of audiences no matter the size.

Winning and placing highly in national comedy competitions gives him a skill set most young presenters simply don’t have: the ability to fill time gracefully, improvise seamlessly, and adapt to the tone of the room on the fly. Josh has hosted events across multiple industries, and takes pride in his ability to purposefully and effectively read a room. As an orator since the age of five, he holds the energy of the event together, keeps the audience invested, and ensures that the client feels like the night was made for them.

Annually, He is part of the hosting team for the Brisbane “Paniyiri” Greek Festival — one of Australia’s largest cultural events, welcoming 50,000 attendees across a single weekend. He also serves as resident host for the Mark Joe Hope Music School live showcases. He has built a relationship with these organisations through the energy and consistency he delivers at each event.
