Aliza Knox

Aliza was named the IT Woman of the Year (Asia) in 2020, in the top 100 Women
in Tech(Singapore), the AWA Singapore International Business Woman of the
Year in 2015, elected to Chief Executive Women (Australia) in 2016, and featured
in the 2018 book, “Women on Board- Making a Real Difference”. As a
non-executive board director and advisor, she is dedicated to empowering the
next generation of leaders building successful global businesses.

Aliza’s book, Don’t Quit Your Day Job,  will come out in April 2022. It presents  six empowering, essential mindshifts necessary to rise and thrive in your career—and to love your life at the same time. In the midst of the “Great Resignation”, she shares the attitudes and actions used by those who successfully navigate today’s work challenges, with advice that helps people apply these strategies in their own day-to-day worklife. 

Aliza is a Non-Executive Director of Tyro Payments (Australia), HealthMetrics
(Australia) and of Healthway Medical Group (Singapore). She previously served
on the boards of listed companies Scentre Group (Westfield Shopping Malls,
Australia/NZ), SingPost (mail and e-commerce, Singapore), GfK (#5 global
market research firm, Germany), Invocare (Australia), of private company Grant
Thornton Ltd (UK) and as an advisor to the ANZ Bank Board Technology
Committee. She is also a Senior Advisor to The Boston Consulting Group.

She is a contributing columnist at Forbes, writing about rising and thriving in the
corporate world and will be publishing a book on the same topic in 2022.

Aliza most recently ran APAC for Cloudflare, a SaaS internet security,
performance, and reliability provider. Previously, she was Head of APAC for
Twitter, having joined the digital enterprise after building a significant business for
Google in APAC.

She led SWAT (Super Women at Twitter) and did the same for Women@Google.
She has served on two key committees for the Singapore government, and was
invited to address the Singapore Institute of Directors on why gender diversity is
important to boards, as well as on globalization. She is a mentor to young women
via Minerva and the Asian University for Women.

Aliza has significant financial services and international experience. Prior roles
include SVP, Commercial Solutions, Visa International; SVP, International,
Charles Schwab; and Partner and Head of Financial Services at Boston
Consulting Group in Sydney and Singapore.

Aliza graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in Applied
Math-Economics from Brown University, and holds an MBA with distinction in
Marketing from New York University. She resides between Singapore and
Sydney.
