Testimonials:

I had the pleasure of sharing a panel with Laura at a conference on viral video. I was struck by how well she related to people and more importantly, how the audience was captivated by her.  Shortly after that, I booked her for my State Of Now Conference in NYC. As I suspected, Laura’s energy and unique story charmed the audience. I would highly recommend Laura as a speaker-she is a charismatic and knowledgeable individual who will inspire and motivate your delegates.

Topics

1. YouTube – social media, marketing & small business. Laura was one of the first businesses to use YouTube as a marketing tool way back when YouTube was only a year old. Her YouTube channel now has over 27 Million views. Those views helped secure a major US book deal with Penguin books. Laura’s channel is now managed by Maker Studio, a Disney owned company. She was also recently certified by Google as a YouTube audience development specialist where she took an in-office training course with them. Laura grew her company from a one-woman show into an internationally successful brand thanks to YouTube. In this talk she caters it to the clients’ needs – social media, marketing or growing a business. She speaks in general terms as a Keynote or in-depth as a training/round table session.
2. Entrepreneurship – Laura’s background is in education. She was a teacher before starting her business. Laura has zero business background yet she was able to grow a hugely successful company on her own. Laura has motivational stories and points she shares with the audience. She often has them laughing and feeling motivated after this talk. This talk is good for any entrepreneurship/business conferences, women’s conferences and University/College events.
3. Inspirational – Growing up Laura faced depression and had a huge chip on her shoulder going through High School. She came from a poor, single family home with many odds against her. At one very pivotal point in her life Laura decided to look at life differently.  She decided to be the author of her own destiny and not a passive reader. She wasn’t going to be a victim of her circumstance (mental health or social status). Laura was going to be more, do better and become successful. She had to fight her way though many hardships. We all have a story to tell, we all have struggles in our lives. Attitude and the way a person approaches life can make a huge difference. This talk is hugely inspiring and motivating. Perfect for High School, College and University events, women’s health and mental health conferences in general.
